Showshack Dance and Drama teachers are fully qualified professional artists who have worked and performed in the theatre, film or television industry. Our teachers use their valuable knowledge gained from their experience making Showshack an interesting and vibrant place to learn. All Showshack teachers are fully DBS checked.

Description:

Gary has worked extensively in both T.V. and theatre, and has played for many of the best known names in the entertainment industry today.He has been the ‘featured’ saxophonist on recordings for Marti Webb, Dave Willetts, Shirley Bassey, Frankie Vaughn, Norman Wisdom, Anthony Newley, Stephanie Lawrence and Ruthie Henshall to name but a few. His many West End theatre credits include; Grease, Starlight Express, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Fame, Joseph, West Side Story, Crazy For You, Jesus Christ Superstar, Saturday Night Fever and more recently, The Rat Pack, The Genius of Ray Charles, Billy Elliot, Avenue Q and High School Musical. Gary formed The Crotchet Factory Ltd in 2009 and has specialised in Musical Supervision and Orchestral management for many UK and International tours including The Magic of the Musicals, Hollywood & Broadway, The Ultimate Elvis, Lee Evans TV Special and Petula Clark UK Tours. Gary has been more recently working for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Company, playing for the revival of Tell Me On A Sunday, firstly with Claire Sweeney, and now in London’s West End with the original star, Marti Webb.
